Welcome to The Leaning Tower of Pizza

Our history is one of continued success. The restaurant was originally started in Des Moines in the 1960's, moved to Ankeny in the 1970's, and continues under the Harrington family since 2001. We have 20 plus year's experience in the pizza industry and it is our vision to maintain not only this location but expand back to Des Moines and surrounding communities.

Our products are homemade and our staff is genuine and courteous. We make a majority of our products on site/by hand, and serve them without the robotics of a chain. We serve pizza the old-fashioned way using what is known as a "stone deck oven", and compliment our pizza with other menu items such as sandwiches, homemade onion rings, and pasta dishes. We use only the highest quality ingredients in our food - such as Grande Cheese, fresh cut vegetables, and homemade recipes.

Unlike the typical "chain pizza" places, Leaning Tower provides an upbeat, comfortable atmosphere. We are a casual, family friendly, independent operation which takes pride in getting to know the customers that choose to visit us. So stop by and try any of our mouthwatering products.
